Nari Mavalwalla is Besharam's resident photographer. He approached us in April 2005 and has been working his magic since. Nari started out as a mechanical engineer, but was frustrated by its exactitudes. "Photography gave me the power to dream, and see a scene my way." Always creative, he chose photography as his means of expression because it passionately moved him like no other art. He has contributed to many South Asian newspapers and periodicals, and is presently involved with Desi News and the South Asian Observer. Apart from weddings, headshots, fashion portfolios and portraits, he has shot advertising campaigns for Western Union, Concept Plastics, Kaki Hotels and Restaurant, to name a few.
