Besharam events have a strict admission policy of 'No Entry for Men, Unless Accompanied by Women.' The reason for this policy is due to complaints we were receiving from women about sexual harassment, and from gay men about homophobic harassment. We intend to STRICTLY enforce the new entrance policy. Unaccompanied men will NOT be permitted entry, unless we know you personally. Just for clarification, we don't require everyone to arrive as couples, i.e. you don't have to bring one woman for every man, but your group must have at least 40% women in it. We look forward to reclaiming Besharam as a safe space for all our respectful and fun-loving patrons to enjoy desi music.
